MICHAEL TURNER - ASSOCIATION DIRECTOR
Mike is the backbone of the DSPA and his wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the industry is considerable. As Director, he attends many meetings on virtually every conceivable subject ranging from training and health and safety through to environmental matters, public relations and new ideas for the industry.
He is the voice of the Association, raising issues with government departments (Dti Omit Dfee pls etc) as determined by the DSPA National Council and ensures the voice of the industry is heard when important issues or consultation documents are being considered which could well affect the businesses of member companies.
He is responsible for bringing the work of the branches together and ensuring that effective communications operate within the DSPA. He is also responsible for recruitment of new members and organisation of the various activities undertaken by the Reigate staff for the benefit of members.
Mike is able to maintain a high profile for the DSPA by having a regular column in the main specialist screen and digital printing journals, as well as writing occasional articles for other publications. Mike also maintains regular contact with a number of media personnel at other printing related publications.
